Abilities in MudGate
Abilities add actions for attacking, defending, supporting allies, and interacting with combat conditions. Players and non-player characters can both use them.
Learn and advance abilities
Most abilities must be learned before use. A permanent ability that accepts points needs at least one point to activate; further advancement can require a character level, available experience, and gold.
Books can teach permanent abilities, while scrolls grant a limited number of uses.
