Items in MudGate
Your character can carry gold, equipment, consumables, containers, quest items, books, scrolls, and other useful objects.
Use and organize items
- Drag items to move them between available containers or inventory areas.
- Shift-click equipment to equip or unequip it.
- Use consumables such as food, drinks, and potions for their listed effects.
- Inspect an item to read its description, properties, effects, and available comparisons.
Recognize special items
Books can teach permanent abilities, while scrolls grant limited uses. Restricted quest items cannot be removed, sold, or given away.
Buy, sell, and compare
Ctrl-click a removable item near a store to sell it, or drag store stock into your inventory to buy it. Merchants can also expose stock through inspection and text commands.
