Trading and gold in MudGate
Gold pays for items and services. Shops, merchants, bankers, and direct gifts each use the controls or commands shown in the game.
Buy and sell items
At a shop, drag an item into your inventory to buy it. To sell a removable item, stand near a store and drop it there or Ctrl-click it in your inventory.
Inspect a merchant to see the available stock, then use buy [amount] [item name].
Carry or bank gold
Use money to check the gold in your hand and bank. Near a banker, use deposit [amount] or withdraw [amount] to move gold.
Give items and gold
Use give [item] to [name] or give [amount] gold to [name] to give something to someone nearby. Quest items and other restricted items cannot be given away.
