Death and recovery in MudGate
Death leaves your character in ghostly form. Use the Resurrect at nearest location action to return at a safe respawn point.
Know what remains behind
Your inventory stays with your character. If you die carrying more than 10 gold, half of the carried gold remains in your corpse.
Return to the adventure
Resurrection restores half of maximum health and one eighth of maximum energy. More than 50 unspent experience is reduced by half; your level and equipment remain unchanged.
Recover with an ally
A SunSeeker can use Resurrection on a nearby dead ally. The revived player follows the same recovery flow and returns at a safe respawn point.
